What’s shaking on the city’s restaurant scene.
Davis Square is about to catch a buzz. Foundry on Elm, a brasserie-tavern hybrid, is set to open this month, offering 32 beer taps, a menu of locally grown fare, and a classic cocktail list.
Adding to the brasserie boom, the Back Bay’s getting a casual French-American spot. Deuxave, with Dbar chef Chris Coombs at the helm, will open this month.
Beacon Hill Bistro chef Jason Bond is leaving to open his own place, Bondir, in Cambridge in the fall. Lumière chef de cuisine Matt Molloy will take over at the bistro.
