When news of the “Achilles project” surfaced this summer, shoppers and foodies alike began salivating: Not only would it be the premiere retailer for the rising Fort Point Channel neighborhood, but also the first fine-dining debut. Slated to open this month, Achilles will feature Persephone, a restaurant helmed by Michael Leviton of Lumière, within a 9,800-square-foot space devoted to posh clothing for men and women, plus home accessories and music. Most buzz-worthy on the retail front: Boston exclusives from emerging designers like Opening Ceremony, Lutz & Patmos, and Rachel Roy.
