Michelle Pollack and Matt Boren take advantage of the region's diverse landscapes to celebrate their wedding day in style.

After a jet-lagged year of cross-country dating, East Coaster Michelle Pollack moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her boyfriend, Matt Boren, a television writer and actor. When they became engaged, however, Michelle—who keeps a blog called “Take Me Back to Manhattan”—was thrilled to plan a wedding back East. The couple chose the Berkshires and invited 200-plus guests, including Kelly Ripa and TV style guru Finola Hughes. And though Matt likens their bucolic wedding to sleep-away camp, Michelle insists it was as sophisticated as any wedding you’d find in Manhattan—or L.A.

The couple incorporated several Jewish traditions—including exchanging vows under a chuppah—into their ceremony on Cranwell Resort’s Mansion Lawn.
