Dr. Ronald (Tak) Takvorian

COMMENT:
Dr. Tak took care of my grandmother during the times when he was at DFCI and then at Mass General. We were referred to him just by chance, and we are so grateful for that meeting. He is a fantastic doctor and a great all around person.

COMMENT:
dr.adrienne Knopf is by far the absolute worst doctor I have ever been treated by. It is such a shame such a great hospital has such a substandard doctor treating patients. In my, as well as many others opinions, she shouldn't have a license to practice medicine. If she had followed the specialists opinions I may not be terminally ill.

COMMENT:
I concur with the previous posting. Dr. Knopf is by far one of the most vapid, inconsiderate doctor I have ever dealt with. For one, I called her off hours for an emergency medical issue, she called me back, literally screaming at me from her car stating that I should never call after hours and hung up. If she took the time to call, she should have, as a professional should, see what the issue was before she started screaming like a lunatic. She may have had compassion at some point in her life, but it has dried away and her reputation is undeserved. Also, the staff in her office are rude and also surprising unprofessional in manner. Dr. Knopf does not deseverve her reputation or her job.

COMMENT:
I can understand that one can have a bad experience or even a bad relationship with any doctor. However, when one of the best doctors in the world, Dr. James Dineen, retired, he recommended I consider Dr. Knopf. I have sen her regularly for almost three years. I find her thorough, easy to talk to, intelligent, and friendly. Dr. Dineen was pretty firm and had that New England "cold" approach; but once you knew him he was sincere and caring and tried to lighten up. Dr. Knopf is a very good doctor in a similar vein. Not trying to convince those who think otherwise, just want to register my strong positive opinion.
