What’s in Store: Wish Splash
Beacon Hill gets beach-ready.
By Rachel Baker
We may be practically surrounded by ocean, but ever since Saks inexplicably stopped stocking swimwear, it’s been close to impossible to find a decent selection of suits in this town. Forced to resort to shopping online, we were drowning in shipping costs—until the folks at dress shop Wish came to our rescue with the new Wish Splash.
The small, cheery spot packs in an unbeatable range of high-end swimwear and cover-ups—bright bikinis by Milly, one-pieces from Vix and La Blanca, comfy dresses by Velvet, glam tunics from Tibi and Trina Turk—and some beachy accessories, too. Unlike at its overstuffed sister store, a wall-rack setup allows anxiety-free browsing. Trying on is likewise painless, in spacious fitting rooms equipped with flattering lighting and disposable thongs. Plus, the final-sale policy on swimwear means there’s no chance of ending up with icky returns.
