Paired with 50-degree weather, yesterday’s kickoff of the 2014 New England Boat Show was the perfect time to begin fantasizing about spring breaks, family vacations, and warmer days to come.

Currently being held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the 59th edition of the annual event features 800 boats for show and sale—everything from luxury yachts to fishing boats to pontoons to sailboats—worth a combined $50 million. The event is entirely interactive, encouraging skippers of all ages to climb aboard the boats for a closer look, attend educational seminars, and engage in hands-on activities.

Below, check out highlights from the show, which runs through Sunday, March 2:

$15 adults, free for children 15 and under; February 22-March 2, Boston Exhibition and Convention Center, 415 Summer St., Boston, newenglandboatshow.com.
