TruTV’s Impractical Jokers at the Wilbur Theater

Spend an evening with comedy troop the Tenderloins, cast of the hit TV series Impractical Jokers. Formed in 1999, the Tenderloins have been performing interactive improv comedy for more than 15 years in New York before earning national fame through their hidden camera prank-based TV show. For one night only this weekend, the group brings their tour to the Wilbur Theater.

31st Annual LGBT Film Festival

This weekend, the annual LGBT Film Fest kicks off at various venues around the city, featuring a wide variety of comedy, drama, and documentary-style films, all focused on the many vibrant dynamics that make up the LGBT community. The series, which runs April 2 to 12, will hold screenings at the MFA, the ICA, the Brattle Theatre, and the Paramount Theatre.

Faneuil Hall Easter Egg Hunt

Don’t limit this year’s Easter egg search to your own backyard. On Saturday, Faneuil Hall will host a family-friendly Easter egg hunt, hiding candy-filled eggs in participating businesses throughout the marketplace. Pick up your basket and a set of clues early to take on the challenge. Jelly beans aren’t the only prize, though, as some eggs will reveal coupons that you can redeem for special prizes. Plus, check out more Easter events happening this weekend.

Formaggio Kitchen BBQ Pop-Up

Nothing screams warm weather like outdoor grilling, but why do all the work yourself? Beginning on Saturday, Cambridge’s Formaggio Kitchen will begin hosting weekly BBQ pop-ups, featuring pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken, Texas beef ribs, coleslaw, and other traditional, savory favorites, grilled up and served block-party style on the sidewalk. Get first dibs on the goods this weekend as Formaggio kicks off the summer series, slated to run through October.
