Michael Ian Black Is Saying Things on Twitter About Race and the Tsarnaev Brothers
Following the devastating news about the fatal shootings in Charleston, South Carolina, comedian Michael Ian Black took his opinions to Twitter on Thursday morning about “racially profiling white” men.
According to reports, a white man opened fire during a prayer session on Wednesday night inside a historic black church in Charleston. The man killed nine people, including the pastor, in what’s being described as a “hate crime.”
Black observed in a tweet that many hate crimes and acts of terrorism in recent years, including the Boston Marathon bombings, have been executed by “white dudes”:
Charleston: white dude
Aurora, CO: white dude
Boston: white dudes
Newtown : white dudeTime to start racially profiling white dudes.

Black’s tweet sparked a controversial dialogue about race on his Twitter feed, where many argued the race of Boston Marathon bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Black spent most of his morning replying to people via Twitter, arguing that the Tsarnaev’s are, in fact, white.
Here are some of Black’s tweets so far:

Now I'm being told Russia is in the Middle East, which means the Boston bombers were Middle Eastern and, therefore, not white.

@MrArtemArefyev Chechnya is in Russia, not the Middle East, making you geographically challenged.

@AJDelgado13 As a columnist for the Miami Herald, can you please inform this ignorant celebrity what race the Boston bombers were?
