From Taco Party’s vegan tacos to Clover Food Lab’s freezer-free menu, there are plenty of healthy food truck options in Boston—for humans, at least. This week, your dogs and cats can get the same treatment, when the Wellness TruFood Wagon comes through Boston on its cross-country tour.

The gourmet pet food truck is run by Wellness, a Tewksbury-based pet food company, and has visited Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, St. Paul, Chicago, Toronto, and New York since setting out on its tour in July. On Thursday, October 15, it will begin a four-day residency in Boston, parking on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, in Peter’s Park Dog Park, and at the Weld Exhibition site during the Head of the Charles.

The pet food truck will offer free samples of Wellness TruFood, the company’s latest line, packed with nutritional ingredients such as chicken, beets, and kale. A drink station and agility course will be set up outside, and pet owners will be able to enter for a chance to win a year’s supply of food and other prizes.

Here’s the schedule:

    • Thursday, October 15 at the Rings Fountain on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Atlantic Avenue between Milk and State streets, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Friday, October 16, Peter’s Park Dog Park, 1178 Washington St., 12-6 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, Head of the Charles, Weld Exhibition, between Weeks Footbridge and Anderson Memorial Bridge, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
