Gisele Opens Up About Bridget Moynahan, Deflategate in Candid CBS Interview

She didn't shy away from Charlie Rose's tough questions.

Gisele Bündchen had one of her most in-depth interviews ever during a recent conversation with Charlie Rose, which aired on Tuesday’s episode of CBS This Morning.

The over eight-minute long segment covered a variety of topics, from her already sold out $700 coffee table book to her six-year marriage with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Although much of the discussion focused on different moments from her historic career in fashion, Bündchen didn’t shy away from answering many of the legendary journalist’s more intimate questions.

Things got a bit serious when Rose asked about her husband’s son with actress Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen admitted that it was difficult dating Brady while he was dealing with his ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy in 2006.

“I felt like I didn’t know what to do,” she said. “It was one of those moments where like, do I run away? Now, eight years later, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter bonus child.”

Rose also asked the Brazilian star about Brady’s never-ending Deflategate scandal, which she said was an interesting learning experience for the couple.

“I think we’ve been through a few tough times together,” Bündchen said. “I think that’s when you know who are your friends and who loves you. My father always says, ‘The quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships.'”

She added, “No matter how challenging it was, we’ve always been supportive of one another and I think that’s the most important thing you can have in life, a support system and love.”

As for what the future holds, Bündchen admitted she’s excited for the next chapter in her life, despite not knowing exactly what she’s going to do.

“That’s a beautiful thing,” she said. “It’s scary a little bit, but it’s exciting because when you have no definition of exactly what it is, everything is possible. Miracles happen that way.”
