THEATER
Fiddlehead Theatre Company Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Fiddlehead strives to bring new interpretations to the shows they perform, and their production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is no different. Adapted from the original Hans Christian Andersen story, Fiddlehead changes the setting of this timeless love story to a children’s Victorian toy theatre. While paying homage to the classic tale and the Disney animated film, Fiddlehead also brings in songs from the Broadway production. Sing along to “Kiss the Girl” and other favorites while watching Ariel’s undersea world come to life this weekend at the Strand Theatre.

$25+, Thursday, December 3, 7:30 p.m., Friday, December 4, 8 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2 p.m., The Strand Theatre, 543 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, fiddleheadtheatre.com.

NIGHT OUT
Boston Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl

This is the one time you might dig through your grandmother’s closet in search of a Saturday night outfit. This pub crawl is unlike any other you’ve been to this year—unless you’re constantly trying to dress your ugliest. So don your weirdest sweater and drink your way through Boston. The December chill is nothing when you’re rocking a reindeer print and have a beer in hand.
