The Boston Pops and conductor Keith Lockhart, who’s celebrating his 20th anniversary with the orchestra this year, return with the beloved holiday tradition. Shows includes renditions of holiday favorites, sing-alongs, and a visit from Santa Claus. Special kids matinee performances include a post-concert photo opportunity with jolly old Saint Nick, special treats, and kid-friendly menu options for those with floor table seats.

Fiddlehead Theatre Company Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid
Fiddlehead strives to bring new interpretations to the shows they perform, and their production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is no different. Adapted from the original Hans Christian Andersen story, Fiddlehead changes the setting of this timeless love story to a children’s Victorian toy theatre. While paying homage to the classic tale and the Disney animated film, Fiddlehead also brings in songs from the Broadway production. Sing along to “Kiss the Girl” and other favorites while watching Ariel’s undersea world come to life this weekend at the Strand Theatre.

Chrismukkah @ SoWa
Wander around a heated tent at this three-day holiday shopping festival. Fifty local artisans will set up shop inside, providing you with a variety of handmade goods, while 90 artist studios, 60 boutiques and galleries, and the SoWa Vintage Market will be outside, surrounded by holiday decorations and music. And don’t worry about the inevitable shopping-induced hunger—food trucks will be set up nearby.

“Training in gymnastics, dance, acting, and even microchip programming has helped me to create performances that are uniquely my own,” says Jameson on his website. Now, his creative show featuring magic and juggling comes to Brookline. Jameson promises to make an umbrella appear out of thin air, bring a drawing to life, and have the audience travel through time in this hour of family-fun entertainment.
