It’s been a while since Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert teamed up for a laugh, and the former Daily Show stars did not disappoint when they reunited on Monday’s episode of the Late Show.

The Massachusetts native stopped by the late night show to talk about his new film, The Big Short, and was somehow coaxed into performing a duet with his old Second City pal.

“People still don’t know you’re a great singer,” Colbert told Carell.

“Well, that’s not really true, but thank you,” the Concord-born actor replied.

Actually, they’re both wrong because fans got a taste of Carell’s great singing voice in multiple episodes of The Office, but we’ll let it slide.

While Carell was a bit reluctant to break out his pipes, he eventually got into the groove of things as Colbert began belting out the classic Orleans hit “Dance with Me.”
