Jennifer Lawrence Spent Thanksgiving on Martha’s Vineyard

She partied with Amy Schumer and Diane Sawyer.

Jennifer Lawrence sure knows how to celebrate the holidays.

Despite being miserable while shooting Joy in Massachusetts during last year’s Snowpocalypse, the Oscar-winning actress decided to return to the Bay State for a star-studded Thanksgiving on Martha’s Vineyard.

Lawrence recently revealed during an interview with Glamour that, not only did she hang out with her pal Amy Schumer during the holiday, but the pair of BFFs also crashed a Thanksgiving feast hosted by ABC News’ Diane Sawyer.

“Amy and I have a life plan–we were with Diane Sawyer in Martha’s Vineyard for Thanksgiving,” Lawrence said. “Not to brag. Diane politely threw it out, and then we’re sitting at the dinner table with her family, like, ‘We shouldn’t be here.'”

In addition to partying with the esteemed journalist and her family, Lawrence and Schumer took a stroll around Martha’s Vineyard to scout locations for their dream retirement pad.

While we’d love for the Hollywood megastars to call Massachusetts home, didn’t Schumer tell Jon Stewart over the summer that she was banned from the island?

“We went to the Hamptons [this year] because they wouldn’t let us go back to Martha’s Vineyard,” Schumer told Stewart. “No one would rent us a house because they heard about us.”

Thankfully, it looks like that’s all water under a bridge now because Lawrence and Schumer seem pretty keen on moving to Martha’s Vineyard.

“Amy’s always wanted to live on Martha’s Vineyard, and we saw this house, and we’re like, ‘This is where we’re gonna Grey Gardens, and we’re gonna grow old and crazy together,'” Lawrence told Glamour. “That’s our life plan.”

We definitely approve of these #SquadGoals.
