The Fenway Park summer concert calendar is pretty decent this season, as the home of the Boston Red Sox will host big-ticket shows with Pearl Jam (August 5 and 7), Billy Joel (August 18) and Zac Brown Band (August 20 and 21), among others, between now and what we all hope to be a lively run to the American League East pennant.

But maybe the ballpark’s best musical performance arrives today on Opening Day, where Keytar Bear has set up shop, leaving behind his familiar vintage Bruins jacket (no playoffs, no Keytar Bear!) in favor of a nice crisp new white Red Sox jersey. The Bear was just filmed outside Fenway by @BostonTweet, busting out some jams before the Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles at 2 p.m.

After today’s game, it should be a busy few weeks for Keytar Bear. Not only is the weather getting better, increasing the chances of spotting him around MBTA stations around the city, but Cambridge’s third annual “Keytar Bear And Abigail Taylor Day” is right around the corner on May 8. We hear there’s something cool in the works.

In the meantime, drink in these soothing sounds of springtime in Boston…
