Mindy Kaling Shows Support for Boston Marathon Team

Mindy Kaling got into the Patriots’ Day spirit by giving a local Marathon team a social media shout out on Monday morning.
The Mindy Project star and Cambridge native tweeted out a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt supporting the Gillian Reny’s Stepping Strong Fund at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, which raises money for research and clinical programs related to trauma healing and limb reconstruction.

This isn’t the first time that Kaling has offered her support to the local group.
The actress was spotted rocking Stepping Strong’s 2015 T-shirt during last year’s Marathon Monday festivities.
The Stepping Strong Marathon team raised nearly $500,000 during the 2015 race, according to the organization’s website.
