Captain America may wish he was back on ice after seeing the craziness at the Republican National Convention this week.

All of the antics haven’t sat well with actor Chris Evans, as the Massachusetts native has taken to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the RNC.

The man behind the Captain America mask tweeted on Tuesday that he’s not sure what’s happening with this country anymore in a post accompanied by a link to an article comparing Melania Trump’s controversial speech to lines from a character in the the show My Little Pony.

Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Iowa Rep. Steve King have also irked the Marvel movie star with some of their statements at the convention.

Evans criticized Manafort for defending Trump’s wife’s speech, particularly for saying, “It’s just another example, as far as we’re concerned, when Hillary Clinton is threatened by a female, the first thing she does is try to destroy the person.”

The Captain America star took King to task over the congressman’s remarks that nonwhite people haven’t contributed as much to civilization as white people.

You know things are getting bad in America when even the Star-Spangled Avenger is shaking his head at what’s going on.
