Fans won’t have to wait “The Longest Time” to see Billy Joel return to Boston.

The Red Sox and Live Nation announced earlier this week that the Piano Man will be playing Fenway Park for the fourth consecutive year in the summer of 2017. The show is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 30.

In addition to the highly-anticipated concert, the Red Sox’s August 1 game against the Indians has be declared “Billy Joel Night.”

“The success of Billy Joel at Fenway Park has been incredible,” Red Sox president Sam Kennedy said in a statement. “To have an artist of his talent return for the fourth consecutive year is a testament to the great following he has in New England, and we look forward to welcoming him back for what is becoming an annual tradition.”

Joel isn’t the only music star who will grace the stage at Fenway Park this summer.

John Mayer and the rest of Dead & Company are set to return to the historic venue for a pair of dates in June. The New Kids on the Block along with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men are also bringing their Total Package tour to Fenway Park in July.

Tickets for Joel’s show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday January 13, however, American Express card members will be able to buy tickets in advance beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 9.
