As you celebrate early Americans’ fight for their home this Independence Day, take a break from your barbecue to witness a different part of military history, with a sneak peek of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk at Copley Square on Tuesday. Remember Interstellar and Inception? Yeah, that’s the guy. His latest tells the story of the evacuation of Allied troops from the beaches at Dunkirk during World War II, and stars Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh, and former One Direction star Harry Styles.

The preview experience lets guests experience the movie’s first five minutes in a Cinetransformer trailer, which features a 15-foot screen and 87 moving seats for an immersive experience.

All active and retired military personnel will have front-of-the-line privileges for the prologue, and early guests have the chance to get movie swag including t-shirts and posters. Dunkirk opens on July 21.

Free, showings 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Copley Square near the tortoise and the hare fountain.
