Yet another glamping resort is gracing New England, and this time, it’s French-inspired.

Tucked away in the White Mountains, New Hampshire’s Huttopia is said to exude “a cosmopolitan air.” While the tents and cabins at Huttopia don’t feature chandeliers like the ones at Maine’s new glamping experience, Huttopia’s amenities do include fine French wines, espresso, and cheeses.

Founded in Lyon, France, in 1999, Huttopia is a network of outdoor getaways that combines camping with comfort and convenience. The company operates more than 30 locations in France and Canada, and launched its first resort in the United States this June. The lakeside New Hampshire getaway was designed for reluctant campers, offering a range of comfy tents and cabins without the hassle of setting them up.

To save you from packing and hauling camping gear, Huttopia provides basic supplies and cozy finishing touches. The most upscale of accommodations is the chateau—a two-story wooden cottage with a loft. It’s equipped with a kitchen, a private bathroom, gas heating, and two bedrooms. Other options, like the “trapper,” offers a canvas tent on a wooden platform. It fits up to five people and includes a private bathroom, electricity, two sleeping areas with mattresses, a stove, a fridge, and a sink. Campers can also choose from more modest tents on platforms, complete with towels, sheets, and beds.

Beyond its ready-to-camp sites, Huttopia boasts a heated pool, a private beach, canoe and paddle board rentals, a game hall, and more. An activity calendar packs in events like craft workshops, open-air movie screenings, sports tournaments, and guided nature walks. The resort’s French touches include evening concerts and French foods (read: croissants and crepes) served up from an Airstream trailer. Stays range from $39 to $220 per night.
