This weekend, 1,200 college and university students from around the world came together for the 2017 Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) meeting, hosted by the Clinton Foundation and Northeastern University. This is CGI U’s 10th annual meeting. CGI U was launched by President Clinton, based on his belief that no one is too young to make a difference. This year, CGI U students made more than 750 Commitments to Action to help make the world a better place, including empowering girls and women in the United States and around the world and increasing access to STEM education, among many others. Speakers included Mayer Marty Walsh, Rep. Joe Kennedy III, Secretery Madeleine Albright, and Olympic athlete Ibtihaj Muhammad.
