Gisele Bundchen Carries Her Baby While Riding a Four-Wheeler in Costa Rica

Mrs. Tom Brady and little Tom Brady weren’t wearing their helmets either.

We all enjoy the occasion YOLO moment, and that certainly doesn’t exclude Tom Brady’s bombshell wife Gisele Bundchen from cruising around Costa Rica on a quad—with her baby daughter, Vivian, on her lap sans helmet.

The Brazilian supermodel voyaged through a Costa Rican beach on the four-wheeler, one-year-old Vivian Lake Brady balanced in one hand, navigating the vehicle with the other. Of course, neither of the two were wearing helmets, which has sparked controversy across the web. Here’s the photo:

Bundchen has the baby strapped to her chest in an infant carrier, but it looks like Vivian isn’t in the most secure of configurations. This isn’t the first time Gisele was spotted with her baby on a four-wheeler, either. Just last March, she and Brady were photographed in Costa Rica on a vehicle together with their daughter. That time, Brady used his hands to navigate the vehicle and the infant was secured to Bundchen’s chest.

In Massachusetts, it’s required by state law to wear a helmet while operating a motorcycle or ATV. Helmet laws are instituted in public areas of Costa Rica as well, but it is possible Bundchen was riding on a private beach.

Alas, it seems like Bundchen can’t catch a break with being a mommy these days. It was only weeks ago that the breastfeeding while being pampered for a photo shoot pic took over the Internet. Supermodels really are a different breed.

So what do we think, folks? Is Gisele really that crazy for taking her baby on a casual ride around the beach? Or was it a not-so-innocent act after all?

Big deal!!!!!! Our society has become so soft it makes me sick. People are now raising kids with hand sanitizer, iphones and sushi. We are a coddled, fat society of wimps. My adult children are college educated with great careers, and are extreme athletes because we allowed them freedom and to test their limits. Bringing her baby on a four wheeler going two miles an hour should not be news.

    • Bumper King

No it wouldn’t be news had she not been the one to criticize other parents on how to raise their children. So what goes around comes around. No one is taking away their right to ride an ATV or freedom here. This wasn’t even in the US. The point is there was a risk involve with an INFANT. Regardless of how fast she was going. Accidents can and do happen. She could’ve slipped on the throttle…pothole, rut etc….

      • jake481

How did she criticize other parents?

        • Bumper King

Where’s you been? Google it up.

          • jake481

I’m quite familiar with her statements on parenting. I’m wondering what “spin” you’re putting on it.

          • Bumper King

No spin but a fact. Thought you were aware of here parenting statements.
I guess you agree to her statements regarding a beast feeding law. Didn’t make this up.

          • Bumper King

            Excuse me..breastfeeding law…..

          • Bumper King

…..that there should be a breastfeeding law…thought you were familiar with her parenting statements. Smh….

          • jake481

A model saying there should be a law that women breastfeed their babies is “criticizing” parents? I guess every doctor who says women should breastfeed are REALLY criticizing parents, huh bright-boy?
Amazingly, this is actually only the second stupidest thing you’ve said here. The first being your claim that ATV’s can spontaneously “flip” from a standstill.

          • Bumper King

No genius…what I actually said was her statement that there should be a breastfeeding law for women. So yea she was criticizing other mother in her statements. Her opinion or not. I didn’t say spontaneously flip either…your words. I know how it happen.

          • Bumper King

If it came from a doctor then that’s advice from a medical professional as an alternative to a problem. A doctor didn’t say this needs to be a law, rather maybe you should breast….as a suggestion.. Her statement was stupid.

          • jake481

Hmmm …do you think she’s in some position to ENACT laws or something? It was a comment made in an interview and the only people who get outraged about it are people who have something against her, either because she’s the highest paid model in history or that she’s married to Tom Brady.

Again, if you flipped an ATV at a standstill you’ve got more pressing issues than Giselle.

          • Bumper King

Honestly I’d respond with same comment regardless who they are. I know who she is. Don’t know much about her. Tom Brady of course. Nothing against him either. Good quarterback. I guess I have more pressing Issues nonetheless.

          • jake481

Of course her statement was stupid! The only stupider thing is getting your baby advice from a super model and getting upset about the opinions of one …well really the stupidest thing I’ve EVER heard is someone flipping an ATV from a standstill.

          • Bumper King

Hahaha I don’t get my advice from celebs period which is why I made a statement on this, that yea that was stupid of her to say and what right does anyone have to purpose such a law. Shocking. Trust me the only one upset and bent out of shape would be you. Can’t be mad at someone’s stupidity.

      • jake481

She could fall down a flight of stairs too. So should she always stay on the first floor?

Always remember internet rule no 1. If you have the opportunity, make sure to judge and belittle someone. Even if you have absolutely no idea what the facts of a situation are.

        • Bumper King

You can fall anywhere and bump your head on cement. What point are you trying to make? I can help you.

  • Gary Hogan

Good grief!! Leave the family alone! When you clock her going 60 mph…then give me a heads up and I’ll change my tune… but she’s just idling! I agree with Cici Tilly!!

    • Joey Nicastro

How can you tell how fast she’s going from a still photo idiot !

  • Katie Kearney

This honestly made me want to throw up. ATV’s are not toys and are not something an infant child should be riding on. According to the American Academy of Pedatric’s children under the age of 16 should not be permitted to ride any of these machines. ATV’s are known to flip even at the lowest of speeds. Tell me how safe this child will be when the machines flips and she is crushed by her mother’s weight and that of a 700lb machine. Gisele was not using common sense when she decided this would be an approperiate choice to make.

    • ryan

You have obviously never owned or drivin an ATV. There is zero chance it will “flip” or role going at the lowest speed. Would you worry about your car flipping if you where going 2 mph? Its fine jesus you can’t bubble wrap children people

      • Bumper King

But what if she slips on the throttle “whiskey throttle” ? It happens accidently. She could’ve hit a rut or pothole flips end over end on the ATV. Point being there’s was a risk involved with the infant regardless of how fast she was going. Personally to me it doesn’t look bad but accidents can and do happen.

      • Bumper King

Ive seen an ATV flip over from the start….not even going fwrd. So your “zero chance” of if not happening just flew out out the window. Guess you never rode an ATV before either.

        • jake481

You’ve seen an ATV flip in park? Really?

What the hell are you talking about?

          • Bumper King

Did I say park? Can you read? So what are you talking about genius?

          • jake481

            “Not even going forward”

Again, what the hell are you talking about?

Is your point they can flip going backwards, too?

Because that sorta goes without saying.

          • Bumper King

No not what im saying or said….you’re thinking about this too hard. Let it go.

          • jake481

“I’ve seen an ATV flip over from the start …not even going forward” …Bumper King

You’re really not going to explain that claim?

          • Bumper King

I did post it. It’s happened to me.

          • jake481

If you’ve flipped an ATV that wasn’t moving then you must have something desperately wrong with you.

You have bigger problems than concerning yourself about a supermodel’s thoughts on parenting or ATV safety. It’s a miracle you’ve survived long enough to use the internet.

          • jake481

If you’ve flipped an ATV that WASN’T moving. you’ve got much bigger problems than worrying about a supermodel’s stance on parenting.

  • Joey Nicastro

what a moron. Why would you do something this idiotic. If the child falls off and hits it’s head …. just no excuse. She’s as bad as the Patriots !

  • Joey Nicastro

Social Services will be waiting at the airport …..

  • ultraphoenix

she was probably going 5 mph

  • Katie Kearney

Ryan your right I have never owned an ATV or been on one. I do however know more about ATV’s than I ever thought I would. My eight year old son was permitted to ride on one with out my knowledge or permission while on a playdate. The machine was not traveling fast and flipped, pinning him underneath. My son died of a massive brain injury. I am proud to have been an active part of passing Sean’s law in Massachusetts in 2010. This law is the toughest in the nation with an age restriction of 14 to ride on an ATV. They may also only be on an engine size no greater than 90cc. They must take educational classes and be superivised by an adult. In Costa Rica there is a helmet law as well as a no passenger law. This was very disappointing to see and a lack in judgement on her behalf.

  • Misty Mueller

Hell yes its no different than when brittney spears drove with her kid on her lap. Be a parent

  • Patty Fraser

How do you know it was even moving maybe she just sat on it. Who took it maybe Tom was there and just got off and told her to sit at the wheel get over it people from everything I have seen in photos up to now she is a great mom and if this was a mistake lets not assassinate someone for one mistake. All you imitators of Christ, the only person I know who never made a mistake ever.
