“Quilts and Color” at the MFA
Don’t show up tired to this new exhibit or you might be tempted to fall right into one of these beautiful, vibrant quilts. With dozens of pieces from Paul Pilgrim and Gerald Roy’s collection, “Quilts and Color” will leave you more nostalgic than ever for that one scratchy spot on your baby blanket at Mom’s house.
$25, through July 27, Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston, 617-267-9300, mfa.org.
Lamb Jam Boston
Vegetarians beware: the American Lamb Board is celebrating spring by serving up lamb, lots and lots of lamb. They’re spending a day honoring and eating tender, delicious lamb prepared by 20 of Boston’s most talented chefs. You’ll get to sample their amazing dishes, as well as wine, beer, and food from other vendors. The benefit will be sure to make your mouth water, as the ALB tries to increase demand for the meat by showcasing its freshness, flavor, nutritional benefits, and culinary versatility.
$60, Sunday, April 13, 3 p.m., Royal Sonesta Hotel, 40 Edwin H. Land Blvd., Cambridge, 617-806-4200, boston.fansoflamb.com.
