The Newton native joined the Boston magazine staff in the summer of 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied history and wrote for the student newspaper, The Daily Pennsylvanian. His writing has also appeared in The Boston Globe, The Patriot Ledger, The Pennsylvania Gazette, and New Jersey Monthly. Additionally, Schwartz has fond memories of the 1996 Final Four UMass men's basketball team and a soft spot for former Celtic Dino Radja, if anyone would care to discuss.
