Berklee Summer Programs presents more than 25 weekend and weeklong programs each summer. From music production and dance, to stage performance and songwriting, students hone their skills in the world’s premier learning lab for music and the performing arts. Whether your child is in middle school, high school, college, or beyond, there is a Berklee summer program tailored for them–and an audience awaits.
The Five-Week Summer Performance Program, Berklee’s signature pre-college program, immerses students in the Berklee experience. This summer, students can join musicians from more than 70 countries who share their passion for music in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay, helping them drive their music forward in a collaborative environment, featuring Berklee’s world-class faculty; a comprehensive curriculum, including master classes, weekly private lessons, and a customized schedule tailored to their interests; and college credit, giving students a head start towards their undergraduate degree.
With access to Berklee’s state-of-the-art facilities, the focus will be on the students and what they want to say and do through their music, on the stage and in the classroom. Five-Week emphasizes the mastery of playing or singing in their chosen style of contemporary music, including jazz, pop, rock, funk, fusion, R&B, country, musical theater, bluegrass, and many more.
