1999 BEST Pizza, Classic
We won’t vouch for the suburban outposts, but there’s magic in the oven at 11 1/2 Thatcher Street. Out of that brick baby marvel come bubbling pies with a smoky/chewy/crispy crust; a tangy, bodacious sauce; and fresh toppings. The waitresses are rude, the decor is circa 1955, you’ll have to wait outside, and forget parking—but its all still worth it.
