2001 BEST Romantic Restaurant, West
West Newton, romantic? You bet. And if the name Lumière doesn’t make you feel like you’re lost in a French fantasy, the billowy, low-lit fabric rippling in waves across the ceiling of this small bistro certainly will. Add some candles and creamy white everything, and red hot amour is the special of the evening. Even the food is sultry and delicious, particularly the seared sea scallops with exotic mushrooms, potato mousseline, truffle vinaigrette, and foie gras butter.
