2004 BEST Women's Clothing, Martha's Vineyard
So many Vineyard boutiques are packed to the rafters with preppy island wear (pink and green polos, Palm Beach-print sundresses galore), it can be hard to distinguish the bluebloods of old-school fashion from the wannabes. This tiny boutique stocks ribbon belts and pastel prints, to be sure, but the selection is a cut above the other island shops. Trina Turk capris share shelf space with beautifully color-saturated chiffon tops by cult label Foley. Slip into a strapless dress in cotton-candy pink and feel confident in knowing that the clothes at Nell are of a different pedigree altogether.
