Best of Boston 2001 Restaurant, Romantic, Affordable
Dalí
|
We searched far and wide for an undiscovered alternative, but for the adventurous romantic with a limited budget, there's no topping Dalí. The atmosphere is pure surrealism and sensuality, from the gold and crimson walls literally dripping with eclectic fixtures, flowers, and erotic art, to the eccentric and spirited waitstaff. And what could be more intimate than eating off each others' plates as you dine on exotic tapas? The décor alone will spark plenty of conversation (are those fishnet clad legs dangling above the hostess station?). You won't go wrong with the squid served in its own ink or the grilled prawns with mojo sauce, and the sangria will have you coming back even if the relationship doesn't work out.
