Best of Boston 2001 Restaurant, Vietnamese
Pho Lemongrass
|
It's been open for less than a year, but this spacious Coolidge Corner restaurant is quietly earning a devoted following. The menu delves briefly into Chinese cuisine, but pay that no heed. Instead, order up a bottle of chilly Vietnamese beer and nurse it as you down plate after plate of tangy roasted quail, grilled shrimp vermicelli, and a bowl of pho ga (Vietnam's answer to chicken noodle soup), infused with generous doses of anise, ginger, and lemongrass.
