Best of Boston 2004 Restaurant, Italian
Teatro
|
Beautiful people and authentic Italian food—a combination for the ages, and a constant at Teatro. Here, generous portions of rustic Northern Italian fare are lavished on a well-heeled clientele beneath a blue-lit vaulted ceiling and giant arched window. Standouts include the surprisingly good thin-crust pizza, a creative antipasti platter big enough to feed two people as an entreé, a menu full of exceptional pastas, and an excellent wine list. Highly decorated chef and owner Jamie Mammano has been getting restaurants right for years; Teatro proves he's only getting better.
