Best of Boston 2007 Brunch, Neighborhood West
Tryst
|
While the handsome interior doesnt exactly scream eggs sunny-side up, this New American favorite is fast winning over the Sunday brunch crowd. The broad menu leans more to the lunch side of the portmanteau; to satiate breakfast cravings, go for the tender smoked brisket hash, brioche French toast with seasonal berries, or piquant huevos rancheros (with an optional add-on of grilled pork tenderloin or steak). Among the other standouts whipped up by Trysts ambitious young chef-owner, Paul Turano, are a traditional Cubano and wild boar ragout.
