Beehive
|
Aiming for a hip, artsy clientele (and thus perhaps not overly thrilled with this honor), the Beehive is nonetheless a great place to bring little droolers on a Sunday morning. The chopped pineapple and melon side (a.k.a. fruit cup) and scrumptious French toast are an easy sell with the finicky; the live music, usually jazz or Latin, provides distraction for the antsy. Just be sure to get in and get out before the South End really wakes up. The Beehive is infamous for its linesand there's nothing a three-year-old appreciates less than a wait.
