El Pelón

The Fenway area suffered greatly when this beloved taqueria was lost to fire twice in recent years. Thankfully, it reopened in Brighton, and the owners have promised a new Fenway location soon. In the meantime, head out to Comm. Ave. and snatch up an "El Guapo," a hefty rollup packed tight with carne asada, black beans, rice, and, oh yes, fried plantains.
