Each July, this farm outside Woodstock holds a celebration called "Cow Appreciation Day.” In truth, every day here is an opportunity for bovine gratitude as guests meet the descendants of Jersey cows who saved the Vermont dairy industry in the 19th century. Other exhibits feature horses, sheep, and chickens, and a demo of farm life circa 1900.
