Every single time we go to Fore Street--and that could never be often enough--we?re blown away by the food, the service and the atmosphere. None of it?s especially fancy or even remotely pretentious. The daily-changing menu features the very best of local ingredients, simply and ingeniously interpreted by chef Sam Hayward and his team. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and delighted to be part of the magic. The brick and wood interior relaxes us the second we walk in the door. Doesn?t matter if we?re sharing the spit-roasted chicken and a bottle of red at the bar or enjoying a multicourse, special occasion celebration: When it?s all over, we can?t wait to come back.
