You don't know what a pancake is until you've downed one of the ultrafluffy beauties (especially one studded with blueberries) served in this working sugarhouse in south-central Vermont. Grab a table by the kitchen, surrounded by vintage sap buckets, and watch plates of bacon and thick-cut cinnamon French toast roll off the stove. The house-made syrup is the standard to which all syrup should aspire.

Great place for breakfast. Plenty of food, decent price, and friendly, rustic atmosphere (and a cool giftshop). Our party feasted on pancakes, omlettes, and some stuffed french toast.. No need for doggie bags when we were done.. I even got a dish of their homemade maple ice cream.. yup, for breakfast.. yum..
