Cambridge Astrologer Predicts 2008

1200585544We here at Boston Daily love to read our horoscopes. (For our money, the ones in the Herald are the best.) But we’d never thought of an astrological forecast for an entire city before. But the Cambridge Chronicle is on it, enlisting a local astrologer to check the chart for the People’s Republic.

Joyce Levine did a reading for the city last year, and hit some of her predictions were pretty accurate (though there was no mention of the Boy Scout kerfuffle.) She did another reading for Cambridge, which is a Capricorn this year, and found that 2008 will be a good one for the city on the other side of the river.

Levine expects the housing crisis will have a minimal impact, and that crime will drop after an initial spike early in the year. But there is some good old Cambridge rebellion in her forecast as well.

Levine expects the start of a national movement as citizens begin rebelling against rising taxes after Pluto moves into Capricorn. . . .

Said Levine, “The last time Pluto was in Capricorn we had the Boston Tea Party.”

Pair that with her predictions for the presidential race, and it looks like we may be calling our boy Ron Paul Mr. President by the time all’s said and done.

Clinton could be in for more political disappointments and McCain’s political aspiration may fade. A third party candidate could have a major impact on the presidential elections and has the best chance of winning in years.

This election is only going to get crazier, isn’t it?

I too am a firm believer in astrology if interpreted correctly.

Last month, there was a prediction by an astrologer with 25 years experience who predicted the last 7 elections correctly. She uses seven “markers” in the chart to determine who will win an election. She states that no other 2008 presidential candidate currently running has more than 4 markers. Ron Paul has 6 out of 7 markers. She predicts that Ron Paul could easily be the next President of the United States.
    I agree with her.

Ron Paul “Could” be president. But, not if no one knows he exists. The media black out of this candidate is making a farce of this whole process. What happened to the concept of equal time for ideas?
Dr. Paul wins about 9-10% of the vote in the last few primaries. I’d be willing to be that’s close to the % of the population that has had the opportunity to be exposed to his ideas. It’s hard to argue against freedom and common sense, so the media just acts like he doesn’t exist.

If Super Tuesday leaves each of the other three or four with a few wins each, then the race continues as a hunt for delegates and the next big state is his homestate, Texas, which is a huge advantage. If he wins there, he has a shot. If he loses, he does not. If the Libertarian Party then drafts him, he could be on their ballots in 49 states going into the Republican convention, in addition to the delegates from this campaign. Nice leverage. Fusion ticket or lose?
