The Ron Paul Conspiracy Spreads to Grandma’s
The internet is a fickle mistress. It gives us so many wonderful things—eBay, blogs, porn—but it can just as easily turn ugly. The Granny Warriors, a group of elderly Ron Paul supporters who we last saw trying to sell the Ron Paul Freedom Wagon, is upset that the anti-Paul conspiracy has spread from the media to the campaign’s beloved internet.
Allegations that PayPal froze the Granny Warriors’ New Hampshire recount funds are starting to circulate around the web.
The application for a recount of the New Hampshire vote required a deposit of $55,600 to the New Hampshire Secretary of State no later than 3:00 P.M. this afternoon, January 15th. A huge and successful effort by the Granny Warriors raised the money and they ordered the transfer to the Secretary. However, at the very last moment, PayPal FROZE THE ACCOUNT and did not transfer the money.
It’s got to be hard living in a political thriller movie all the time. When the powers that be are complicit in the election process, we don’t have to worry that our GMail accounts will be shut down for using the words “Ron” and “Paul” in the same email.
We emailed the people at PayPal to see why the account was frozen, but we imagine they’re inundated with emails from Paul supporters and won’t hear from them for a while. But if we do, we’ll let you know.

What’s wrong with someone questioning the process, it’s not like it’s perfect.

Why is Ron Paul not receiving the Major Media coverage? Most major media outlets are prone to deliver the message that there owners want to hear. To give an example, Rupert Murdock owner of FOX news says, quote word for word
“For better or for worse, our company (The News Corporation Ltd.) is a reflection of my thinking, my character, my values.”
Knowing this all one needs to do is look at Rupert’s well known political positions and choices for President and it is oddly coincidental that it is the very same people that are the “Touted” candidates and do so well in the FOX polls. Fair and unbiased? You be the judge..
NBC has it’s master called GE. GE has the same privilege as Rupert. GE is one of the world’s largest military contractors. Are we to be believe that we are always getting fair and balanced information? You be the judge.
As far as the other media, I am sure some of them also have there “Masters” that are proactive in what message is conveyed by there news outlets.
Imho, Ron Paul cannot count on the major media to do anything but sabotage him and we should not cry about it, that’s the way the media works in this country.
What Ron Paul supporters need to do is focus on what we do have, a extremely LARGE grassroots campaign made up of millions of individuals, not several corporations like the rest of the field. Be thankful for having a true honest campaign and work hard at getting him elected. Don’t get caught up with the bad vibes of others who fear this revolution that is unfolding..
Looking forward to Ron Paul as President.
Sincerely

Please send me an email. I really would like to know what happened at Pay Pal. Even like the missed votes in N.H. that developed this recount request. Someone made a mistake on counting votes. This starting a questionable vote, and rightly so. Then the votes were corrected leaving a creditability question in N.H. Now with Pay Pal, I hope there was a mistake, but even so with a mistake brings credibility questions. Even worse than the incorrect vote count, Pay Pal actions cannot be corrected as state law prohibits a recount request after a specific day. Depending on your political persuasion, very bad or good timing for Pay Pal. Please really let me know what happened.

I can tell you from 1st hand experience, if you have a PayPal account that has normal transactions and then it gets a blast of more than $10K, PayPal will freeze your account. Trust me, it is a good thing. They try to stop fraud asap. Once they determine that all is well they release the funds.

Hmmm. Word has it that the owner of PayPal is close friends with Romney.

Dr. No, PayPal is owned by eBay.

Stop the madness. The holding of funds by PayPal happens on all accounts that show abnormal amounts of incoming funds in excess of $10k… Stop making this into something it is not.
GO RON PAUL

Paul Flannery, quit labelling anything to do with Ron Paul’s supporters as people that are conspiracy minded; if one looks for evidence one will find. People were concerned about the GOP recount in N.H.,they couldn’t careless about PayPal. Once PayPal released the funds, PayPal was forgotten. Only people such as you are trying to tie a label of conspiracy kooks to Ron Paul supporters for being concerned over the likelihood of a GOP recount (after the funds were frozen by PayPal).

The limitation on the account associated with The Granny Warriors has been lifted, and the funds are now available for withdrawal. In situations like this, when large sums of money are being exited from an account, PayPal is legally obligated to gather more information. This protects both the account holder and those that donated funds to the account. We sincerely apologize to the Ron Paul campaign and The Granny Warriors for any inconvenience that issue may have caused.
