WHDH Goes HD
Those of us with high-definition televisions have been stuck watching most local news broadcasts in standard definition. Channel 5 made the switch last May, but the other local news outlets had been slow to adopt the new technology before federal law requires all-digital broadcasts starting in 2009.
But today, another local news outlet will go digital. Boston Daily has learned Channel 7 will start broadcasting in HD starting with today’s noon broadcast. (It’s on right now! Head to the gym and check it out.)
