The Overview
Barbara Lynch’s sophisticated restaurant in the shadow of the State House is famous for its prune-filled gnocchi. Some patrons eat only that—a mistake, since they miss out on equally inventive dishes such as duck breast with heirloom radishes, seared foie gras, and black mission figs and coriander-crusted monkfish served with carrot and ginger purée and mango chutney. Note: The restaurant closes between lunch and dinner.
