Whether you choose Pomodoro on Hanover Street in the North End or opt for the Brookline Village branch, you’ll find a solid menu of contemporary Italian cuisine: pasta with rich and flavorful Bolognese sauce or mussels in a light, garlicky broth that puts the crusty Iggy’s bread to good use. At both locations, the line forms early. (After all, the North End location has just eight tables.) But turnover is quick—and in Brookline, there’s a good-sized bar with more than twice the seating of the old if you do have to wait.
