Boston Fashion Week: Firas Yousif

The Boston-based designer showed off his glam collection under the Tent.

Firas Yousif is one busy guy — he showed 47 looks (!) at his Friday night show. The first part of the evening featured a thumping soundtrack and models in Day-Glo-bright Asian-inspired prints and slinky, sparkly ruffled frocks. They were fun (if a little too flashy), but it wasn’t until the parade of couture and wedding gowns that Yousif’s talents really shined.

Check out some of the ensembles that he sent down the Tent catwalk:

More glamorous gowns after the jump…

(Beaded straps elevated this tiered black gown.)

(The train on this gown was a bed of faux flowers, accented by blooming straps.)

(The giant bow on the runway finale.)
