Room 68, Jamaica Plain’s modern home store, will open a second location in Provincetown come mid-May. The outpost, at 377 Commercial St., will be 1,200-square-feet, double the size of the original, and will also showcase emerging designers (hop in the wayback machine to read more about Room 68’s concept and opening in our December 2011 issue).

Provincetown “is a fresh and progressive town that is filled with art and design, and the people who love art and design,” cofounder Nick Siemaska said in an email yesterday. “In a way, the P-Town location is a natural progression from our roots in J.P.”
