SalonCapri to Host Second Annual Jazz Brunch Series
Treat yourself to a new look while enjoying live music, munching on treats, and sipping some luxury beverages.
As spring finally blossoms and puts a nip on the bud of the unforgiving winter, you might be thinking that a fresh new look is in order, too. Thankfully, that’s where SalonCapri comes in.
Every Saturday starting May 3 through June, salon will host its second annual jazz brunch series, where every visit comes with live music, snacks, and drinks.
As grand as it is already just to get primped and pruned on Newbury Street, imagine this: an expert stylist works magic on your locks, while you lean back and relax with a complimentary pastry in one hand, and a fresh beverage in the other (coffee, juice, mimosas). And to top it off, a jazz band serenades the entire experience. This year’s live music will be performed by Chroma, a group out of Berklee College of Music.
Yes, it’s a luxury when compared to frequenting Supercuts or “sampling” the beauty products at Sephora. But if you have to spend an hour nervously getting your hair done anyway, wouldn’t you rather do it with seasoned experts while indulging in a croissant and espresso? It’s an all-star way to get it done.
SalonCapri (last year’s Best of Boston winner for Best Hair Salon) is located on the second floor of 11 Newbury St., Boston, 617-236-0020, saloncapri.com. Jazz brunch events take place Saturdays, May 3 through June 28, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Appointments recommended.
