Diners at Barbara Lynch's new casual concept in the Fort Point Channel neighborhood eat perched on small stools at a zigzagging white counter. Modeled after Italian roadside eateries (but admittedly fancier), Sportello serves lunch and dinner with a menu heavy on truffles, porcini, robiola, bolognese, and gnocchi and divided into soups, salads, polenta, pastas, and grilled flatbread—all $25 or less. That's a food pyramid we can all get behind.

Review
the counters are like brighams
the wait staff like durgan park veterans
the food very very salted
the prices beyond belief for pasta
