Future Engineers High School Summer Camps

Is your girl or boy a future engineer? Then the Future Engineers High School Summer camps at UMass Lowell Francis College of Engineering is a great way for them to be exposed to and experience this fascinating world for two weeks this summer. The July 10-15 session is Engineering for a Connected World. The July 17-21 session, Engineering for Sustainability, is for girls only!

In both sessions students will have a chance to live on campus for a week and discover the world of engineering through hands-on projects and interactions with other students, faculty, staff, and alumni. While working in one of UML’s new 3D Printing or CNC Machining labs, they will be exposed to the theory and process behind design and production. In addition, the school’s DifferenceMaker entrepreneurship team will work with the students to develop a business pitch for their proposed product.

* Please note that the camp cost per week of $1,200 includes all overnight accommodations, meals, and supplies. Scholarships are available.
