It’s a testament to all of us as Bostonians and Americans that following Monday’s tragedy, people did not wallow: We sprung into action. In the mere two days since the bombing, countless charity and support runs have taken place across the country, and there are still many more to come. We’ve compiled a list of some of the upcoming Greater Boston area runs, walks, and everything in between to help show your support.

Boston Strong Pilates Bootcamp, 4/27

Jennifer Phelan announced via her Facebook page  that this Saturday’s free Pilates Bootcamp class at Faneuil Hall will serve as a tribute to and fundraiser for those involved in Monday’s events. More details are to come, so keep an eye on her page for updates.

Ultimate Spring Workout, 4/27

Ultimate Spring Workout—an event featuring free Zumba, bootcamp, yoga, and kickboxing classes and plenty of giveaways— has been on the calendar for weeks, but the organizers have now pledged to donate $2 for every person who attends (up to 500 people) to the One Fund.

#BostonStrong Bootcamp Benefit, 4/27

Somerville’s Rx Strength Training will host two bootcamp classes Saturday to raise money for the late officer Sean Collier’s family. The suggested donation is $20 and the event will run from 10 a.m. to noon.

Pure Give, 4/28

If you live outside the city, Burlington’s Pure Barre is doing an entire day of by-donation classes on Sunday with proceeds going to the One Fund. Plus, the studio has pledged to match all donations up to $5,000.

Boston’s Run to Remember, 5/26

The Run to Remember happens every year as a way to honor our city’s law enforcement officers who have given their lives in the line of duty, but in light of last week’s tragedy the organizers have extended the registration deadline for the half marathon to today, 4/23.

The Last 5 Walk

Originally scheduled for Friday, this Boston College student-organized walk from the BC campus to the race finish line has been postponed by request of university officials and the Boston Police Department. For information about when the walk will happen, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Run for Boston 2014

To show solidarity and support for the marathoners, CNN launched an initiative encouraging people to pledge to run or walk a race of any distance by next year’s Boston Marathon. The program isn’t to raise money, but to show support and community.

The most heartening part? Some events aren’t just happening in Boston, or even Massachusetts. Cities as far away as Chicago, Los Angeles, San Antonio and more have all come together to support Boston, and more races are on the agenda.
