Wired Puppy Specialty Coffee and Tea

You can get wired at either the Newbury St. location or at their sister shop in Provincetown. Boston Brewin Coffee Company

Tucked away on Bromfield St. near Downtown Crossing, it’s easy to miss this 100 percent organic coffee shop, but once you’ve tasted the locally roasted beans, you’ll never forget it. Boston Brewin also serves pastries from Roxbury-based Haley House and sandwiches from Zefta’s Le Gout Frais based in Haverhill.

Barrington Coffee at Area Four

For just $2, you can get a cup of locally brewed Barrington Coffee at this Kendall Square restaurant. If you bring your own mug, you’ll save a quarter on the already inexpensive price. If you need something a little stronger, enjoy a hearty cup of Irish coffee—complete with Kilbeggan Irish whiskey.

Equal Exchange Cafe

Stop by on your way to the North End or TD Garden for a delicious cup of locally roasted coffee.
