Longwood Dental Group Will Provide Free Dental Care

On April 5, you can get a free cleaning, extraction, or filling.

If you have nagging tooth pain, or you keep postponing your six-month cleaning and check-up due to a lack of dental insurance or the funds to cover the appointment, you may be in luck. On Saturday, April 5, Dr. Berdj Kiladjian of Longwood Dental Group will host a free dental care event through Dentistry from the Heart, a non-profit organization that provides free dental work for people in need.

Dental office reps say that care will be provided on a first come, first serve basis for adults 18-years-old and over. They are hoping to serve at least 100 patients that day, and the first 60 are guaranteed to be seen. Every person who shows up (at least the first 60) can choose between a cleaning, filling, or even an extraction. General dentists, specialists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other dental professionals will man 10 operating-ready rooms to provide free dental care to as many patients in need as possible.

Patients are being asked to arrive early. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and patients will be seen until 4 p.m. Office reps are requesting that patients dress appropriately for the weather and to bring water and snacks because everyone will most likely be waiting outside before they are seen.
