Registration for the 10th annual “Hub On Wheels” citywide ride, which takes place September 21, is now open. The ride provides cycling enthusiasts, families, and people of all ages the chance to explore Boston on two wheels.

Event participants choose between three different course lengths (10, 30, and 50 mile routes), and each offers a unique city feature, such as riding on a car-free Storrow Drive. The rides all start and end at City Hall Plaza.

Cyclists who want to participate in the Hub On Wheels ride must be at least 10-years-old to ride the 10-mile loop, and 12 years or older to ride the longer routes. Children under 10 ride for free and may participate only if riding with an adult on a tandem, trail-a-bike, bike seat, or trailer.

The Hub On Wheels ride is part of the city’s annual weekend “cycling celebration” that also includes the 6th annual TD Bank Mayor’s Cup pro cycling races, which will be held Saturday, September 20, also at City Hall Plaza. The Mayor’s Cup, which is free and open to the public to watch, will feature more than 200 of the cycling world’s top professional racers, including former Olympians and national champions.

To sign up, visit Hub On Wheels, bostoncyclingcelebration.com, or register on-site at City Hall Plaza. The registration fee is $50 prior to the event and $55 on-site.
